 O R D E R 

                S.O. 649(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2A) read with sub-section (2B) of section 29B of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government, after considering the recommendations made to it by the Advisory Committee, hereby directs that following amendments shall be made in the notification of the then Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 477(E) dated 25^th July, 1991, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 25^th July, 1991, namely: -

In the said notification, -

1 in Schedule III, - 

(a)           serial numbers 56, 61, 72, 92, 93, 94, 95,96,97,98,99,100,127,138,149,155,156A34,157 to 210,212,312 and 326  and the entries relating there to shall be omitted; 

(b)                 against serial number 154, in column 4, the entries relating to product code 30392809  shall be omitted; 

(c)                 against serial number  128, -

(i)                  in column 3, for the product code  “303201”, the product code   “42713”    shall be substituted;

(ii)                 in column 4, for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
“Acrylic sheets except by continuous extrusion process” ; 

(d)           against serial number 143,-

(i)                   in column 3, for the product code “303902”, the product code “42960” shall be substituted

(ii)                 in column 4, for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :-
“polystyrene foam products from expandable polystyrene beads (except slabs for expandable  polystyrene beads manufacturers)”.

2.     This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
